Classes have default base stats that a character will be brought to upon changing into that class. Stat growths are balanced to be MUCH lower than you'd be used to if you're coming off Awakening/Fates, expect 1-2 stats per level to be the norm.ģ. EXP gain drops off sharply after level 10, leading to severely diminishing returns leveling past that point when combined with the next pointĢ. What you should know about it though isġ. As for when you should actually class change, there aren't necessarily gold standards to follow in this (at least to my knowledge). You'll run into your first one very quickly in the story. Also I'm glad this one isn't a waifu simulator, which was kinda fine in Awakening but was exhausting by Fates because I didn't like most of the characters.Ĭlass changing dosen't occur automatically, you trigger them manually at Mila Shrines which are found in some interior areas. Awakening and Fates both start with your created character being royalty-adjacent or literally royalty, and it's nice that this one you start off as a dude and girl in a village (though like all Fire Emblems I assume one or both of Alm and Celica turn out to be secret royalty/descendants of royalty, but I haven't actually looked up the story of this game beforehand so I'm just guessing). Maybe I just like the games where you have a humble beginning more.
